The Ghana Enterprise Agency in collaboration with the Business Advisory Centre and Youth Employment Agency of Ga West Municipal Assembly organised Apprenticeship to Entrepreneurship Training on Thursday, 3rd October 2024 at A&T hotel, Amasaman. The training sought to enlighten people with Skills Crafts Persons (SCPs) in the GWMA about apprenticeship and entrepreneurship.
The trainer, Mr. Edmund Laryea, educated Skills Crafts Persons present to identify opportunities around their environment and bear in mind as entrepreneurs that setting up a business comes with risk therefore they should be willing to face and deal with any challenges that may come their way till they succeed.
He further discussed the different ways of establishing a business as well as excellent customer relations with trainees. Trainees were also educated on the importance of Branding. He reiterated that branding is key to successful entrepreneurship.
The training was a success and is expected to have a long lasting impact on both trainees and the Local Economy. Members of the Skill Craft Persons(SCPs) who took part of the training gained more knowledge and insight about entrepreneurship.
